The challenges facing the maritime industry in terms of cybersecurity and the implementation of the NIS 2 Directive were debated at the Transportweek 2023 conference, held on 14-16 March 2023 in Gdynia. CMW Legal was represented at the event, as a participant, by attorney at law Aleksander Karandyszowski – partner at CMW Legal.
Analysing cybersecurity threats, the panelists pointed out the need to build awareness and responsibility among employees, as well as to increase the security of OT systems, which were not usually built with network security in consideration.
