After many efforts of the Comité Maritime International and the shipping community, the Beijing Convention on 05.09.2023 was opened for signature! After ratification by 3 countries the Beijing Convention will enter into force but lets hope the accessions process will be more intense then in respect of Rotterdam Rules, which were adopted in 2008 and until today only 4 countries ratified it, whereas there are 20 (!) required for its entering into force.
