On 1 April 2024, regulations amending the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 12 April 2002, on the technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location will come into force.
The amendment, among others, introduces the principle that new production and storage buildings with a built-up area of more than 1,000 m² must be located at least 30 metres from existing residential buildings, a collective residence building or those for which there is a final building permit decision or an effective notification/certification of no grounds for objection.
The aforementioned change is intended to reduce noise and other nuisances associated with industrial or warehousing activities. This amendment may be relevant to business investments planned by entrepreneurs.
