The challenges facing the maritime industry in terms of safety were debated at the 13th Transport Week 2024 conference, held on 12-13 March 2024 in Gdynia. CMW Legal was represented at the event by Iga Wójcik.
This is one of the most important industry events related to transport, logistics and seaports in Pomerania region. Among the topics covered were: cybersecurity in the current geopolitical situation, the biggest cyber threats in the maritime and logistics sector (e.g. cybercrime, APTs, hacker-activists, cybersecurity in the supply chain), critical infrastructure security in the context of ports and shipping, or the state of preparedness of the maritime/TSL sector for the implementation of the NIS2 Directive.
