The new standard of ship management contract – SHIPMAN 2024 – has been published by BIMCO. As compared to the previous standard, SHIPMAN 2024 more comprehensively covers the current risks of ship management industry, including liability for emissions trading, maritime insurance issues, and moreover standardises such matters as international sanctions, fleet cyber security and preventing corruption practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is also interesting to note is that AUTOSHIPMAN, the first standard contract for the management of autonomous vessels, will be published in the near future, which, according to BIMCO’s announcement, will be mainly based on SHIPMAN 2024.
