As of 1 January 2023, an amendment implementing the EU Omnibus Directive, concerning, among other things, information on the lowest price of a given product or service in the last 30 days, comes into force.<\/p>\n

The amendment also covers the provision of digital services and the sale of goods with digital elements, regulating the sale of such services along with warranty and guarantee standards.
\nThe amendments also include provisions on distance and off-premises sales and introduce a regulation prohibiting the sending of not ordered commercial communications without the recipient’s consent. Violation of this prohibition is to be treated as an act of unfair competition.
\nIncorporating these changes may require updating service regulations and redesigning price information systems.<\/p>\n
