March 14, 2023 in Szczecin and March 16, 2023 in Gdańsk – a conference on zero-emission solutions for ship propulsion was held. During the conference Rafal Czyzyk – managing partner of CMW Legal delivered a presentation: “Fuels of the future – road to decarbonizing the maritime transport – “FuelEU Maritime”” in which he described the goals and means adopted by the IMO and the EU in order to make shipping and seaports zero-emission. New obligations imposed on shipowners and ship managers resulting from FuelEU Maritime and IMO regulations were also discussed.
