On April 16, 2022, the act on special solutions for counteracting aggression against Ukraine and serving the protection of national security entered into force in Poland, introducing the Polish list of entities subject to sanctions, which is available here: https://www.gov.pl/web/mswia/lista-osob-i-podmiotow-objetych-sankcjami and a ban on import and transit of Russian and Belarusian coal. In order to avoid penalties (up to PLN 20 million) for violating those sanctions, we recommend that you verify contractors based on the Polish list of entities subject to sanctions.
