Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin (Law) and the Warsaw School of Economics (Transfer Pricing and Tax Management). He also gained experience in the Tax Structuring division of KPMG’s tax department in Poland.
Piotr is specialized in legal advisory subject to dry and container shipping, international trade, freight forwarding market, tax and customs law, M&A and financing.
He handles maritime disputes, including cases arising out of charterparties, bills of lading and sea waybills, for commercial entities such as shipowners, charterers, ship managers, freight forwarders and brokers. I also have an experience in claims related to general average and projects related to the financing of the purchase and construction of ships and superyachts.
Piotr regularly advises entities involved in international trade on issues arising from commercial contracts, including contracts for the sale of goods, letters of credit, guarantees and trade finance.
His daily job also includes negotiating and developing of mergers and acquisitions deals, transactions related to real estates as well as projects in the field of debts restructuring and transformations, in favour of entities operating in such sectors of economy as: maritime transport, international trade, logistics and seaport terminals, shipyards & offshore and real estates.
